Local Events

Pitlochry hosts events throughout the whole year including The Etape Cycle Race, the Highland Games, the Enchanted Forest and the New Year Street Party. There is something for all ages to do.

The Pitlochry Festival Theatre has a varied programme of plays, concerts, exhibitions and workshops. During the summer months there are Scottish nights in the recreation ground and town hall. Local pubs provide live music.

The Countryside

In the beautiful surroundings you will find gardens and parks open to the public. There are many walks, cycle routes and water sports to try. There is even a bungee jump for the bravest visitors to attempt. Enjoy a game of golf, row a boat on the pond or  go fishing. There need never be a dull moment.

Learn about the local history by visiting a museum, castle or heritage centre. Pitlochry is home to Heathergems where beautiful jewellery is made from the heather which grows on our hills.
